New Light Extravagansa!!

a lot of people are in a little fuss about the generation change, which as far as im concerned, doesn't change anything, it could be step one of a bigger adjustment down the track, but on its own, its been done.

but at the annual meeting of the wtbs, there wasn't 1 but 5 changes of thought, the light has literally exploded.

one that has caught my attention is the the change on the dragnet of matthew 13. if you have wt 92 6/15 read it!

Sharing the 'real' truth by commenting at meetings

having recently gotten my commenting 'privleges' back i try to sow seeds of truth with them.. here are two tidbits i have shared:.

1----- the bible highlights-------when the older men judged legal cases, they did it at the city gates where the proceedings could be observed.. 2-----wt study yesterday-----the world was judged wicked and noah was judged righteous---he was a 'preacher of righteousness' before he started on the ark.

there is no indication that god ever intended for anyone else other than noah and his family to get on the ark.

speaking at church is a privlege? since when? When you want to comment on the word of the lord it is a given right. I was visiting one hall, and one person who had a disability was still able to talk and he knew the answer to all the questions being giving and yet they would look over him. And their reason was they didn't see his hand. BS! he was right in the front row and the keep picking the people around him. Not very fair or right for him.

i was actually on this site when the doorbell rang.

i walked to the door and it's a nicely dressed black guy (single witness) and since the wife and kids are there i step outside.. he starts in with "do you think the world will get better.".

The guy is going to come back alright, he will come back with someone to try to convince you that you are wrong in your thinking. If he didn't try to sell you anything, I don't doubt that he'll try on his next time around.

YMCA membership

ok, i know this has been talked about before, but now's a good time to bring this up again.

my wife (active witness) and i (inactive, haven't attended in over a year) just got memberships to the ymca today.

it's the only fitness place in town with a swimming pool.

If the fact that you are not to have YMCA membership is true that is the most stupidest thing ever.. well one of the most stupidest thing ever! Just tell them you are dyslexic and thought you were walking into MACY's.

reading all these posts here are really making me see how much control the society has. Everytime I hear mention of PO it reminds me of a probation officer, not that I ever had one but these people at the halls sure sound like that they are like that.

Also, if it is supposed to be the individuals talk why is it they have to follow a strict outline, doesn't that make it more the halls outline and what they want you to say through them. They are just using your mind and body to speak.

..so this book by joyce meyer was at the book store, it looked really interesting.

i have not read it yet, but i did skim through it and i like how she includes a bible verse relevant to a possible life experince that we might be facing or have face or eventually may face.

any thoughts on this book as to if it is as good as it seems?
